If you’re visiting a church for the first time, we know it can feel overwhelming. When you’re ready to take that step, we want to make sure you feel prepared before you arrive. Our church wants you to feel welcomed once you’re here!
COME AS YOU ARE because we all start somewhere. And wherever you are on your faith journey, you’re welcome here! We want you to feel comfortable. At St. James, we have a relaxed culture. We offer ministries for all ages and stages!
At St. James, worship is one of the principal ways we welcome people into our community. We help one another grow in faith and empower agents of God’s grace in and to the world! We invite everyone and encourage you to join us for worship as we seek to grow in knowledge and love of God.
A strength of St. James is our ability to respect our differences and find common ground in Christ. We will care for you in our church, not only by our priest, but our congregation as well. We strive to follow Jesus’ example of unconditional love. Whatever your perspective, your baggage, your orientation… Whatever your political affiliation, your race, your identity – we invite you.
St. James believes in being a “doing” church. Our church family works together to grow. We would never want you to sit on the sidelines. Engaging in faith means getting to know each other. Let’s wrestle with the big questions of life together. St. James believes in caring for our community as a church, also. And we always celebrate God’s majesty.
We meet for worship at 10:00 AM on Sundays. Whether you are new to Episcopal worship or a long-time Episcopalian, we’d love you to join us for a visit!
